How Much Does HGV Training Cost?

Answer:

The typical cost for a HGV training course (Category C or C+E) should be approximately £1,000-£1,400. Many training companies offer a five-day training course and you can apply for your HGV licence in the UK from the age of 18. This will allow you to drive any HGV including rigid, draw-bar and articulated lorries.

Note: The term HGV (heavy goods vehicle) has now changed to LGV (large goods vehicle) to conform with European legislation.
